James was born in Miami, Florida and moved to Central Florida in 1980. He began in the business of real estate as an investor buying and selling everything from low income properties to luxury homes. James then made the decision to transition from Investor to Agent as he enjoyed working with people to achieve their goal of home ownership.
James has an extensive background in residential real estate working with buyers and sellers and is an expert in short sales, foreclosures, and investment properties. One of his strongest assets is his ability to negotiate the hardest deals while authoring contracts that cover every detail and all while offering the greatest level of protection to clients. James is also a graphic designer, web designer, photographer, and videographer who uses these skills to help market and sell all of Alton Clark Realty's listings. As a result of having these skills, James is able to provide services to all sellers that would otherwise only receive them if they were selling a multi-million dollar home.
James graduated from the University of Central Florida with both a Bachelors & Masters Degree Suma Cum Laude. He's an avid sportsman who enjoys baseball, golf, hunting, and fishing. He's the proud father of two beautiful children and is married to the love of his life who just so happens to be his real estate partner, Christine Clark.

Seller reviewI'm not located in Florida so the recommendation from a family member was important. James and his team was very easy to work with making the process very seamless which was very important to me as I live in Connecticut and was not able to be there most of that time. The online advertisement of the house was excellent and their ongoing reports on the activity of the showings always kept me informed of what was happening with the sale. They were open to ongoing communication when I expressed concerns with anything. The only recommendation I would make is that maybe performing an open house during a weekend earlier in the process may be helpful in the end result. I would not hesitate to recommend James and Christine to anyone who is interested in selling or purchasing a home in the Deltona area.

Seller reviewHow do you rate a company above a "10" everything they did was first class and the best was TOTAL COMMUNICATIONS- I almost felt like I was their only customer- the honesty of which we talked about pricing throughout the [process was clear and the walking me through the closing process from contract acceptance to inspections and appraisals to actual closing- they were there all the way- christine especially was awesome and was there when I needed her I was actually given the name of the broker by SOLD.COM and I decided to set up interview at the property. Christine came and gave me all the info I needed- I felt extremely comfortable with her and never felt pressured to use them- That was my first experience with them and they were AWESOME all the way through constant text messages when the property had appointments to let me know and follow up information about the visits sorry how many time can I rate this group a 10+
