I began my real estate business after a successful career in the automotive industry, and I have the benefit of both a technical background and management/leadership experience that I now put to work for my clients. I've lived in SE Michigan all of my life, and I'm familiar with the entire metro Detroit and Ann Arbor areas.
As a licensed Realtor, I have been trained in the Mike Ferry Sales System, and my professional designations include Accredited Buyer Representative, Certified Negotiation Specialist, Certified Distressed Property Expert, and Cartus/Affinity Relocation Specialist. I belong to the National Association of Realtors, The Michigan Association of Realtors, and have been a Major Investor to RPAC. My formal education includes a degree in mechanical engineering from UM - Ann Arbor, as well as a number of management disciplines obtained in my former business career.
I've had the pleasure of being married to my wonderful wife Cheryl since 1973, and we have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. My other interests include flying sailplanes as a private pilot, hiking, backpacking, cooking, model building, and photography.
