Buying or selling a home or investment property is not so much about me as it is about YOU and your financial goals! My role is similar to a symphony conductor coordinating the different players to make beautiful music…a successful real estate transaction representing your interests. Knowledge is Power: I have completed over 300 hours of Continuing Education and Professional Development over the past few years. I have a vast network of professional real estate trade contacts for referral. I have an understanding of the nuances of the local real estate market. I pay close attention to the transaction details of each of my clients. I am a full time REALTOR® and follow strict National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. I enjoy listening and coming up with creative solutions to problems and issues that are likely to develop before a close. My business model values high client satisfaction and I fully appreciate buyer and seller referrals. I am a life-long Spokane native having graduated from Gonzaga Prep. I started my career path in marketing with a Communications/Advertising degree from Washington State University in Pullman. I have extensive experience in advertising media and community relations. Community Service While we make a living by what we earn, we make a life by what we give! I serve many non-profit agencies that make our community great! Currently, I am part of a volunteer speaker's bureau supporting DONATE LIFE (organ and tissue donation) education in Spokane Public high schools. I serve as volunteer event director for the annual Krista L. Baker Memorial Softball Tournament and Home Run Derby in cooperation with Spokane Youth Sports Association.

Seller reviewJohn Baker was especially helpful in the sale of our home of 41 years. He had good suggestions on 'staging' and preparing our house for best visual presentation. His market analysis of our home value was accurate and he expended great efforts in marketing our home. The photography he arranged and the electronic links to our listing were extremely helpful in marketing our house. The number of daily "hits" and "saves" reported from those viewing our listing online were amazing! Our neighbors commented to us frequently that the number of people viewing our house each week was considerable (we had already moved out of state). We were delighted in the efforts John made to get high exposure of our home to potential buyers. He often went above and beyond our expectations to assist in the best presentation of our property to potential buyers and was a great help in 'closing the deal'.

When the seller failed to leave the house in the contractual condition agreed upon John went above and beyond to hold the sellers feet to the fire and fulfill the contract. John set communications standards that were extremely clear and professional that made working with him very easy.

Buyer reviewI bumped into John for the first time almost 3 years ago. He was showing a property on South Hill... we seemed to hit it off... and he wanted to help me find the perfect new home. That was 3 years ago. Three. Years. Of. Showing. Me. Properties. Most other realtors (or anyone for that matter, short of the Pope) would have probably told me to take a long walk off a short pier. And yet, I could call or text John and he'd typically show me yet another property the very same day. He's super responsive, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in finding the right home... based on the buyer's criteria (in my case, this changed radically on several occasions). In short, I'm the buyer from hell. And I can say without hesitation that John is by far the best real estate agent I've come across. You won't regret working with him.
