We moved out of state in spring of 2014 and had listed the house with another realtor. Things were going nowhere, deals fell through and there seemed to be a lack of marketing and the online listing, primarily pictures were less than adequate. After a year and 3 months on the market we knew we had to make a change. CENTURY 21 Coleman-Hornsby was highly recommended by a friend and coworker who in years past was also a realtor in the area. Shawn put together a very aggressive marketing plan, used professional pictures and their online reports and email notifications of showings and showing feedback kept us well informed and up to date on our listing. The fact that we were several hundred miles away made this a very challenging listing. As most homeowners can attest, "stuff" happens to our homes whether we are there or not, and our house was no exception. Shawn not only kept me informed of things around the house, but also took the time to correct things on his own, or arranged to have the appropriate service performed saving us lots of anxiety and aggravation. The marketing and pricing recommendations we received during each stage of the listing were effective and we received an acceptable offer within 4 months. Shawn saw to it the deal was closed quickly and smoothly without my wife and I having to travel up for the closing. This was very helpful, although I would have liked to meet and thank Shawn in person.
