It took us only 4 months to finish the entire process and make a winning offer, despite the intense competition from so many other buyers. I think a lot of this success had to do with how responsive Steven always is. He made sure my questions were always answered, met with me often to discuss our strategies, and basically spent a lot of time with me to figure out what we should go for. He'd also rather help you make the right decision that is right for your lifestyle and affordability level than to pressure you into making a bad decision - even if it meant that he would lose a chance at earning commission. If you literally can't afford it, then he won't pressure you. He'll try his best to make your situation work for you and get you what you want. That is the type of professional he is.
