We first worked with our agent, Sharon Cox when we were new to Maryland and in town from Florida on a quick, last minute trip to search for a rental property. Born and raised in Southern Maryland, Sharon has vast knowledge of the area. That was a blessing to us considering our out-of-state move was a spur of the moment decision with little time to prepare. Sharon helped us find the perfect house to rent in our short timeline so we could be on our way to Florida to begin packing up the household. A year later, when we planned to purchase a home in the area which we have grown to love, we knew Sharon was the person we wanted to work with. She listened to what we wanted in a home and found several properties that met our key needs. She was helpful every step of the way while we chose our perfect house. Throughout the home buying process, Sharon went above and beyond for us, including a trip to the local zoning board to pull past permits for work done on the property. We worked with an out-of-state lender and Sharon always made sure they received inspection reports and other information necessary to close the loan in a timely manner. She was always available to answer our questions and help guide us through the home buying process. I would highly recommend Sharon Cox to anyone seeking to rent, buy or sell a property. Chris Hill is an exceptional agent. He is super friendly, professional, and kind. My wife and I decided to put our house on the market on a Saturday and decided to call Chris that day. We asked him if he could meet us the next day, Sunday. Chris said "absolutely", he was at my house that next day and on time! To me, this shows a high level of commitment to customers. He gave us great advice on "must-do steps to sell our home. When our home officially was for sale, it also happened to be on a Saturday, the following Sunday we had our first potential offer. Early the following week we found out that the same people, first potential buyers, decided to put an offer for the full price. This happened so quick and frustration-free! In conclusion, more than just an agent, Chris was our teammate and became our friend through the whole process of selling our old home and buying our dream home. Prior to meeting Chris we had another agent. We quickly learned that she was not necessarily as hands-on as we would have liked and upon meeting Chris we knew immediately we wanted to change agents. We chose Chris because of his knowledge of the market and his willingness to ask questions, but more importantly, Chris was extremely friendly and made us feel as if we were more than just "business" to him. He was very responsive and very open to any suggestions we had, either accepting them, or explaining why the suggestions most likely would not be beneficial to implement. Chris was tenacious about getting our house marketed both on print marketing and online and listed our home on several websites which we believe was crucial in people knowing the house was there. Since we lived in a gated community, the most reasonable form of advertising was to utilize the internet and available real estate marketing tools available to him and he used them with precision and an accuracy that was a bit surprising to us, particularly given our experience with the previous agent. Chris also imparted a lot of wisdom to us throughout this process and I believe we walked away much more educated on the process and determining how to go about selling a home should we decide to do so in the future.
