Your Beacon to the American Dream Lighthouse Team Lead Tom Millar and his wife Paula moved to the Northern Virginia area with their four children when he was stationed there in late 1995 with the Air Force. After another 10 years and two back-to-back military assignments, he completed a satisfying career in the United States Air Force retiring with 20 years of service as a Major and Chief Systems Engineer for a large defense communications organization in the area.
Choosing Real Estate Having completed engineering degrees at Arizona State University and Stanford University, Tom was well poised to continue on as a Defense contractor…but there was something missing. He felt God was leading him to something different where he could help people in more tangible ways. Real Estate seemed to be a natural transition, and he began his Real Estate career in early 2004.
Now, after 12 years and closing on over 330 transactions, Tom and The Lighthouse Team has the experience base you need to help you with a listing or a purchase in the Northern Virginia area. Ranked the #17 top producer in the Mid-Atlantic, Tom leads the Lighthouse Team consisting of Bill DePugh (USAF Retired military), Rebecca Ferguson, Kelsi Andrade, Maggie Angell, and Sara Rudolph.
Area Expertise Lighthouse Team Real Estate is very familiar with the Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun County areas, having helped hundreds of buyers and sellers in all three counties. Living in Prince William County and having an office in Fairfax county enhances our exposure to and ability to serve these areas.

Buyer reviewOne day, we were talking about buying a house. It was something that we were thinking about for almost a year. That day, somebody knocked at our door. This elegant gentleman was in front of me asking if we were interested in buying a house. That man was Duncan. He introduced himself, and my husband and I told him that we were talking about buying a house a couple of minutes ago. Duncan gave us all the information we were looking for. Obviously, purchasing or buying a home is a huge financial commitment, but it is also a really emotional one for a family. Bill was sensitive to both aspects and made sure that my family and I were comfortable in our decisions throughout the whole process. We would gladly recommend him to our friends and family.

Buyer reviewWe met Duncan at an open house at the beginning of our home search. His friendly, knowledgeable manner and prompt follow-up led us to contact him as part of our search for a real estate agent. In the first week that we worked with him, Duncan was great about letting us define our home search while being supportive and accessible. He also provided us with a heads-up on a townhouse (which would eventually become our home!) about to hit the market in our area. We were reluctant to make an offer since we had just barely started our home search and the property already had competitive offers. Duncan provided us with several suggestions that made our offer stand out to the seller. Ultimately, we were able to out-maneuver 8 other offers despite having a far less flexible bargaining position! Our offer was accepted because of the Duncan's diligence, craft, and knowledge. We are so grateful to have worked with Duncan and Century 21 New Millennium, and we will recommend him to anyone searching for a home without reservation.
