Buyer reviewI loved working with Michael. I'd recommend him to anyone but I thought he was great for a first time homebuyer like me. I felt like it was an easy process for me and it was relatively stress free. He also wasn't trying to just sell me a house just to make a sale. He'd point out the things that he saw that were wrong with the houses we saw so I didn't make a bad decision. That really inspired a lot of confidence and trust in working with him. I felt like it was just as important to Michael to help me find the right house as it was for me. He was really wonderful and I'll definitely be reaching out to him if I buy or sell another home in the future.

Buyer reviewWe are new to the area so we expected to talk with several real estate agents before making a selection. Our criteria was fairly straight forward. Friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Michael checked all those boxes and then some. We also chose Michael, because from the start, he went above and beyond, giving us virtual showings when we couldn't be there. The entire process was initially daunting with many steps. For some of these steps, especially where other parties were involved, we always felt that Michael was key in moving everything forward. He would close the loop on communications, give us concise information and useful advice and was an overall superstar during the entire process. We know we are very lucky to have picked him. We are now very happy first time home owners, thanks largely to Michael's efforts.

Buyer reviewCartus made the contact to Century 21 Legacy. Michael Vanderkooy called us. We were pleased with him based on our phone conversation and opted to use him as our agent. Michael was very helpful will searching for a house in a difficult market. As we toured homes, he noticed items of concern or ones from our list of preferences. One example is a home that has some DIY wiring. He noticed it and pointed it out to us. It was a difficult search and Michael was very patient as we toured several homes in a 30 mile radius of Loudon, TN. We had a 4 day house hunting trip and he spent several hours with us each day. We really appreciated his help!
