Alan Jay was very helpful to me as a first time buyer. He was very patient and accommodating. Having never bought a house before, I had no idea what to expect or what a "good" realtor was like. Fortunately, Mr. Alan Jay reached out to me one day after I had looked at a house on Zillow and quickly gained my trust. I spend weeks looking over houses and sending him questions about locations, prices and house history. I told him I wasn't looking to buy a house immediately and he still treated me like I was looking to buy that day. Also, being from a state that doesn't use basements, I had no idea what to look for in a basement. Alan walked me through that as well and showed me what to look out for and how I could potentially expand each basement to utilize its space. Overall, I would 100% recommend Alan Jay and I will definitely refer him to everyone I know who is looking to purchase a house.

He was able to get us up to speed on those aspects of the home buying experience with which we were unfamiliar and provide detailed answers and feedback as we delved deeper into the process. He was always open and honest in terms of his knowledge and expertise and would provide outside sources of information as needed to make sure we had all of the tools we needed to be successful. He also had a great knack for coaching us into/through a home viewing but then stepping back and allowing us to evaluate the home on our own terms and in our own time. He was always very prompt to get back to us when we had questions, even and especially outside of 'normal working hours.'
