A South Dakota native, Amber grew up on a small family farm/ranch near the North Dakota/South Dakota border. She acquired a love of animals early and was active in 4H and FFA throughout her formative years. After a relocation to Kansas and finishing high school, Amber attended college and pursued a career as a physical therapy assistant after moving to Casper, Wyoming in 2000. After meeting her husband, Nate, in 2002, Amber moved to Laramie where Nate has been a Homebuilder since the same year.
Upon arriving in Laramie, she took an interim job as the office manager for her local CENTURY 21. Amber found purpose in her new field, acquiring her Realtor licensing in 2006, her Brokers License in 2008, and subsequently buying the office in 2010. As the Broker/Owner of the oldest CENTURY 21 franchise in Wyoming, she has made valuable relationships with many of the area's residents, Business owners and industry professionals, and has served in various roles in the Laramie Board of Realtors serving several terms as Treasurer and most recently as the Past President.
Amber takes pride in her attention to detail, striving to provide the best possible service to her diverse set of customers, and addressing their needs on an individual basis. With the ever-evolving Real Estate market, she has made significant investments in the digital marketing side of her business, with the goal of further connecting her clients with an expansive buyer pool. With a broad spectrum of tools, and an eye towards the future of the market, she has positioned herself to help her customers with innovative and personalized service.
Amber currently lives in Laramie with her husband of 20 years, Nate, and their English Springer Spaniels, Holly and Gabby.

I was totally reliant on Amber, but despite the distance and not being in person, she was skilled at understanding my needs and building trust with me as a buyer. My trust in her was well placed! Despite my initial hesitation in buying a home sight unseen, Amber's professionalism, advocacy for my needs/desires, and effective communication convinced me to put in my offer. She handled everything going above and beyond in dealing with the builder, listing agent and local lender to make it all work out. As a military retiree who has moved a lot, purchased three homes previously, and worked with lots of realtors from all over the U.S., I can honestly say that Amber is the best I've had the pleasure to work with...and that was without ever having met her in person until closing! She's truly outstanding and I feel incredibly fortunate to have been referred to her!

Buyer reviewI cannot speak highly enough of Amber Cross. We had some specific needs and were out of staters as well. Our conversations always impressed us with her knowledge of the area and her willingness to help us find a place regardless of the time it could have taken. By zeroing in on properties that may work, she wound up saving us a lot of time. The result was that we felt comfortable making our purchase even though Amber and our daughter were the only two who saw it in person! She negotiated everything with the owners and got all of our questions answered right away. Her manner in dealing with people made it so easy on everyone. When we were able to make the trip out to close we got to see or new home and we could not be happier. She has been there for the entire process. Even after closing she has followed up several times. God sent us in the right direction with our decision to work with Amber Cross. She worked out all the details in our new journey so we can enjoy it!

She understood clearly what we were looking for in our retirement/forever home. She was also invaluable in the negotiation, inspections, offers, and final closing procedures. Since we were selling a home in Colorado with a variety of challenges, Amber was a terrific sounding board for that process as well.
