Personal Profile
Cameron Shosh moved to Washington, DC, to attend college at American University and, but for a short hiatus in the late 1990s and early 2000s, his heart never left. He arrived with delusions of political intrigue, but, ultimately, realized that the sale of properties resulting, in part, from Pierre Charles L'Enfant's original vision for a grand federal city offered comparable, if not equal, gratification to the Shakespearean theater of Congress. Offering a range of real-estate experience, Cameron provides impeccable service to first-time buyers, veteran home owners, and single-family and small multi-unit investors. His motto: "Providing service to a standard, not just a sale." Although "service" and "standards" could be misconstrued as a luddite admitting unfamiliarity with technology, Cameron fully embraces innovations in digital marketing. Personal, in Cameron's parlance, comes not just from human contact, but also from connections made via social media and other online environments. In Cameron's world, people are key, regardless of how they connect with listings. Cameron's 17 years as an agent enable him to easily navigate Washington, DC's, ever changing real estate market. Need help with creative financing≠ Check. Looking for professional contractors and inspectors≠ No problem. Seeking a better understanding of DCRA and DC TOPA regulations≠ He's got you covered. Satisfied customers agree. "We felt like we were armed with a wealth of information thanks to Cameron's help," J + K said. "After a few weekends of looking at houses with Cameron, it came up in conversation that he has a background in the hospitality industry-and it shows! He was unfailingly upbeat, helpful, and encouraging throughout what was at times a frustrating rollercoaster ride of emotion for us. " Asked why he has stayed in the nation's capital for more than two decades, Cameron said, "I love DC because it feels like a small town wrapped up in a big city."

Seller reviewI had worked with Cameron a couple times over the years, before he came to Century21 Redwood Realty and was always extremely happy with the results. He is personable, knowledgable and hard working. I would recommend him to anyone. I sold the house because I was moving to another state so I was away during hte sales and inspection process. The plumbing sprung a leak a day before settlement and Cameron jumped right on it, and coordinated the fix.

Buyer reviewVery good communicator and very helpful for nervous first-time homebuyers.

Buyer reviewAs first-time home buyers, we were initially considering going with an agent from USAA (cash back at closing was an incentive), however, our friends who had worked with Cameron to buy their house set us straight by reminding us how important it is to work with an experienced agent. The agent we met from USAA was very young, a novice. We never could have felt secure and confident using someone like that on the biggest purchase of our lives (so far). We wrote four offers, total, with Cameron (our fourth was accepted!), and he was completely on top of the situation in all four cases. He has extensive knowledge of seemingly all of DC's neighborhoods, and also had plenty of wisdom to pass along regarding the many older homes we looked at-- he shared tips for refinishing floors, assessing appliances, HVAC advice, how to renovate sleeping porches... We felt like we were armed with a wealth of information thanks to Cameron's help. After a few weekends of looking at houses with Cameron, it came up in conversation that he has a background in the hospitality industry-- and it shows! He was unfailingly upbeat, helpful, and encouraging throughout what was at times a frustrating rollercoaster ride of emotion for us (as various offers were turned down, "dream" houses lost, etc). Cameron's personality is perfectly suited to this line of work, he excels at communicating and frankly, when you're spending every weekend with your agent, you want someone who is pleasant to be around! Again as first-time home buyers we don't have another buying experience to compare this to, but we had a great experience with Cameron. He took care to explain every step of the process to us and never seemed frustrated with our lack of knowledge on the subject. We ended up with a great home in a neighborhood we thought we could never afford to buy in, and we know we couldn't have gotten this place without Cameron's guidance and hard work. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to buy a home in DC.

Seller reviewCameron was amazing throughout the entire process. Selling a home in a competitive market, such as downtown DC, can be very stressful. Cameron was the best advocate for our sale. He was attentive to our needs, ranging from minuet to complicated, and very patient with us considering our busy work schedules. Cameron's knowledge of the market not only brought comfort to us, but also insight into our next home purchase. We look forward to using Cameron's expert services in the near future.

Buyer reviewFrom the first conversation Cameron Shosh was focused on helping me find exactly what I was looking for. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the area down to knowing details about specific areas and buildings. What he didn't know he always researched and got back very quickly. Cameron was always available and willing to answer my questions or concerns throughout the entire process even past settlement. I would highly recommend Cameron to anyone looking for a property in DC.

Buyer reviewI was very nervous and undecided and about what kind of property our next home would be or what area of town we were interested in. Cameron was kind, knowledgeable, patient and extremely helpful. He showed us a number of properties and walked us through our various options until we found our perfect home. I could not have asked for a better agent and I would highly recommend Cameron and Century 21 redwood reality to family and friends. Cameron helped us to understand each step of the process and feel comfortable with the decisions we made. He also was extremely diligent, always answering phone calls and texts promptly, aiding us to find excellent contractors, inspectors, movers and more making the process as easy as possible. I can not say enough positive things about Cameron. We are very grateful to have had him as our realtor and now friend. We are very pleased with all aspects of our experience and purchase
