We could not have bought our first house without Cindy Florine! Not to mention, she had a very reasonable broker commission. We initially found her through Realtor.com when we wanted to look at one of the houses she was selling, and we stuck with her since. She was very timely when it came to when we wanted to look at houses spur of the moment; she always seemed to be available for us within a very reasonable amount of time. She even organized several showing in a row a few times based on our work schedules. She worked with our schedules, so we didn't need to take any time off of work. I really appreciated that! She has shared valuable knowledge with us about the local areas, including things she learned from past house experiences in the various areas that we were looking at, from the other houses she has sold in the past. She was very knowledgeable with both the surrounding area and house systems. She would often make comments on the big picture while we had our blinders on when we were looking at only the house. Why get a beautiful house in a terrible neighborhood? We would have made a big mistake if it were not for her pointing things out like, "What kind of things do you see in this neighborhood and other's driveways?" and "What do you think of what you see from this view?" She was very up front and honest with us. She gave us hope when we got discouraged especially when we didn't find our perfect house right away, and when we lost a house we were bidding on that we really wanted. She was encouraging, optimistic, understanding, and empathetic. She also kept in contact with us after we asked to take a break from the house search due to a personal financial setback. She was polite and showed us options she thought we would like based on prior houses we asked her to show us. She consistently pushed us into the range she thought was appropriate for what we wanted and how we described our dream house; in the end, she was right. The low numbers we were asking for weren't rational or reasonable, and we would've been disappointed in our decision if it weren't for her wisdom. We had many adventures together, one of the most memorable and to show her dedication as a realtor, was trudging through nearly two foot high tall snow in one of the driveways, and then, even higher snow in the backyard to get to the shed in back just to take a look; she definitely went the distance for us that day and actually everyday we needed her. I appreciate her even more looking back now because I realize all along she was the one telling us what we needed to hear, even when I had "blinders" on when I looked at an amazing house and really wanted it; she was the one that pointed out the faults in the "amazing house," even when our parents weren't getting through our thick skulls. Looking back and now being a home owner, I see some of those fixes were beyond what I could handle. I was impressed with how human and professional she could be at the same time. She has a unique charisma that makes you feel like buying a house is serious business yet it should be a light and happy time. She didn't judge us. We are 24 and 25 years old. She didn't take advantage of us for our age or only talk to my boyfriend because he is a male. She also didn't judge my boyfriend and I, as we aren't married and were looking to buy a house together prior to legal commitment, believe me, there are people like that out there... Overall, I am very satisfied with choosing Cindy Florine and Century21 Atwood Realty. We really enjoyed the journey with her as our guide; it is one we will always remember.
