My real estate career began in vacation management on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. In 2005, I began listing and selling property from Corolla to South Nags Head and on Roanoke Island where I live. It must be difficult working with non-local homeowners, but I knew I was in good hands from the beginning as she guided me through the process. I really appreciate her help; she did so much of the legwork when things needed done that I couldn't handle from a distance, and always kept me fully informed. I know this was a busy time for Colleen, but she always made me feel like I was her most important client. Colleen obviously knows the local market, and that strength allowed her to come up with just the right approach with respect to pricing, prep and staging of my home. It was an aggressive plan, but still just right to attract prospective buyers and move my property quickly but at a fantastic price point. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and would highly recommend Colleen to anyone thinking of buying or selling a home on the Outer Banks.

She fought for me every step of the way, was incredibly knowledgeable about the area in which I purchased, was thoughtful, communicative and always available if I had a question about any step of the process. Truth be told, she helped me avoid making some big mistakes thanks to her abundance of knowledge of the Outer Banks. She was an incredibly valuable asset during the negotiation process as well. Her well-rounded experience and incredibly personal approach made me feel comfortable from the outset and I knew right away that I could trust her to help me make the best decision for my needs, not the best decision for her. I would give Colleen a 10 out of 10 for trustworthiness. I did not hesitate for a moment when she gave me advice because I knew she had my best interests at heart. I hope to work with Colleen again in the future, as I'm not sure I could possibly find a bigger value add than Colleen.
