We were incredibly grateful to have David Dorman help us in buying and selling a home. David helped us to purchase a home in 2002 and was here again to help us sell and find our forever home. We had a long list of wants for our new home and David pushed us to get out and just start viewing house. When David was showing us homes he was an incredible help. As we arrived to every home he summarized what features the home had and walked us through each room. While we were looking at the main features of the house David would point out the not so obvious things like the expected lifespan of major features of the home based on when it was built, roof's condition, electrical systems, things that appeared to be upgraded, and things that may come up at inspection or need replacing. David really knows his houses inside and out. He would even share ideas about changes we could make to address any concerns. We really felt like we could ask him anything. He was very positive throughout our house showings and we never felt pressure or discouraged. He always left us on a positive note and leaving it open for us to think about what we saw and call him if we wanted to make an offer. When that day came and we knew we had found our home, David moved fast. Because of his in depth knowledge of homes our offer already addressed any major issues that would have caused problems at inspection. David worked to ensure these changes were made and only contacted us to let us know they were complete. Because of this and only because of this we had no problems on our inspections. As for the selling of our original home, we couldn't have been more impressed. David and Scott came to our home to sit down and go over everything to expect. They made suggestions on how we could stage our home but never made us feel obligated to change anything or spend money. David showed full confidence he would have our house sold as is. The photos they took of our home were incredible and no doubt had an impact on why we had such a positive response when the the house was listed. David, Scott, Debbie, and Penny kept in constant communication with us about showings. They worked around our schedules as much as possible and stacked showings back to back. We had multiple offers on our house within the first week. David did an exceptional job explaining each offer to us and helping us negotiate and accept the best offer. He was always respectful to make sure we were both aware of every detail. He was always looking out for our best interests and never made us feel pressure to accept compromises we weren't comfortable with. David's expertise and professionalism allowed us to sell and buy our homes on the same day. Everything was extremely easy and we had no problems on closing day. We were in our new home mid afternoon on closing day. David was not only professional, but was really an awesome person to be around. We loved spending this time with David and feel like he is part of our family now. This was a great experience start to finish. We highly recommend David and his team!
