Eileen also provided exceptional advice when it came to purchasing a new home. We could not be happier with our new home. Finally working with Eileen is a very personal experience as she got to know everyone in our family. I highly doubt there is a better real estate agent in the Des Moines Metro.

It was a pleasure working with Eileen Van Kooten - Schmitt. She was very professional, thorough and provided excellent service. Whenever I had questions, Eileen was always available to answer them either by phone call, text or email. Since I live in the Omaha area, I was pleased that I could sign many of the documents online by using the Dotloop software application. This saved me time and money because I didn't have to travel back and forth from Omaha to Des Moines to sign papers. It gave me the flexibility to complete and sign the forms based on my availability and schedule. I also liked the fact that I didn't have to be present at the Closing. I was able to sign the documents and send them to Eileen before the Closing date. Eileen provided an honest and knowledgeable assessment about what improvements should be made to the townhouse before putting it on the market. Her suggestions were in line with my thoughts and that was very important to me. She didn't suggest anything that was unreasonable or expensive. She also gave me contact information for trustworthy contractors who could do some of the work that I needed to have done. This was very helpful, since I'm from out-of-town and not familiar with reputable contractors in the Des Moines area. The contractors she suggested were all friendly, trustworthy, respectful and did excellent work. I would definitely recommend Eileen Van Kooten - Schmitt in the future to my family and friends for their real estate needs!
