Former owner of Derby Village store for twenty years. I have been a Realtor since 2002. My wife and I live in Derby and have a summer cottage on Seymour Lake. Downhill skiing, hunting, and the love of Standard bred horses and Dachshunds, and spending time at the lake is what I enjoy.

We both felt Howard Birchard was professional, trustworthy, knowledgeable and did a fabulous job. We had some concerns about this transaction as we live so far away. Howard Birchard went out of his way, worked very hard for us and all was exceptionally well done. Howard was delightful to work with. Very helpful and went above and beyond our expectations. With us living in Texas he made it all happen for us and we are very happy to have finally met him at the closing in Vermont. Everyone at the office we met was very pleasant, knowledgeable,professional and helpful. Century 21 exceeded our expectations. Lee Fitzgerald-Pierce and Tara Lewis awesome too!

Howard really understood the type of home I was looking for and because I resided in another state and had limited time on each visit to Vermont, I appreciated that he only showed me homes that were appropriate. Once I found my dream home, Howard acted promptly to get my offer presented to the seller before another offer was accepted.
