Jim and Betty were referred to us by my friend, and our current realtor, Keri Couvillion, in the Phoenix Metro area. We flew to AK from AZ to look at houses. When we met Jim, we were not only very impressed with his knowledge of the local area but his vast knowledge overall of real estate, laws, etc. We knew right then he was the one we wanted to have as our realtor. We had a very complicated purchase because we were moving from AZ. Jim helped us navigate getting through Canada with current info during the Covid 19 pandemic. We needed a pre occupancy agreement as well. Jim made this process as easy as he possibly could for us. We literally drove into town from AZ and went straight to our new house. He was fantastic to work with! Jim spent approx 8 hours driving us around, showing us many, many homes and gave us much needed local expertise on restaurants, shopping, geographical features, etc. We weren't quite ready to buy yet, but he kept in contact with us frequently by phone as well as new daily listings and updates on the market until our home was sold in AZ. He drove by and researched properties for us when we couldn't as we were over 3800 miles away. He went above and beyond anything we could even have expected! We also dealt with Betty Valdes, Jim's wife on many occasions. She was also very polite and knowledgeable of the area.
