Personal Profile
My family's Western heritage spans six generations, with ancestors who migrated out West in pursuit of prosperity and a better life. Growing up in Belle Fourche, SD, I was immersed in rural culture and gained valuable experience in agricultural work.
Later on, my family moved to the Washington DC area where I owned and managed several successful restaurants and nightclubs, serving prominent clientele from Capitol Hill and the entertainment industry. However, I always felt a strong pull back to my ancestral roots and the natural beauty of the West.
Twelve years ago, I relocated to Sheridan to pursue my passions for hunting, fishing, and enjoying the stunning natural resources of north central Wyoming. I am blessed to have a supportive wife and two children who bring joy to my life.
After working as a supervisor for Sanjel, Inc., an oil and gas services company, I realized that my true calling was in helping people with their real estate needs. My diverse experiences living and working in both rural and urban areas, as well as my international travels in Europe and Asia, have given me a unique perspective and empathy for people from all walks of life.
As a Real Estate Agent with CENTURY 21 BHJ Realty, Inc., partnered with Roger St. Clair in the Steger St. Clair Real Estate Team, I use my natural "people skills" to connect with clients on a personal level and help them achieve their dreams. I am passionate about helping others and committed to providing exceptional service and guidance to buyers and sellers.

Buyer reviewI think I made an inquiry about a property over two years ago on a listing I saw on Zillow or something. Joe called me within a day and has fostered a relationship ever since. He's worked tirelessly to get my family in a home. I could list a dozen ways he's gone above and beyond to help us. I couldn't be more pleased with his service. Joe represented both sides of this transaction and maintained a level of integrity that I greatly respect. Somehow he got both the sellers and the buyers a fantastic deal. It's almost like the asked the sellers to move because he knew it would be a perfect home for my family. He met my inspector there on Easter Sunday, and did several other things to help me purchase a home from across the Country. If there were higher ratings than perfect, I'd use them. Every person I talk to about real estate will know that there is nobody better in Sheridan than Joe. I consider him a true friend and I wouldn't be surprised if he and his entire office showed up to help me and every other one of their clients unload the moving truck. Great people. I'm a high maintenance client. We had two other homes fall out of escrow before this one went through. Joe never complained, never griped, never slowed down. He worked even harder to find the perfect place for my family. His staff were great handling all of the messy stuff that goes with a busted deal. They even sent me a check for my wire fees that I used to make the the escrow payments. Could not be more content with the service and results of our transaction.
