As an out-of-town owner of a property that I was trying to sell, but had never visited in person, I was totally reliant upon the agent I chose to visit the property and devise a sales strategy based on the results of that visit. While the property was vacant, there were still multiple hurdles that had to be cleared in order to sell it. Included in that list was the fact that there was no visible easement to my property as well as learning that adjacent property owners had been using parts of my lot for their own personal storage. Add to this, the original sales contract we had that the buyer backed out of and we had our share of road blocks to selling the property. John Constant was relentless in pursuing resolutions to all of the issues that arose during the sales process, while remaining pleasant and professional throughout. Although my property was a small one in terms of overall value, he never treated me as if my property wasn't worth his time, despite the limited commission he would make if it sold. To me, that spoke volumes. Even when the eventual buyer dropped the ball and was not going to meet the closing deadline regarding delivering the funds for the sale, John again stepped in and made that happen so the closing went through on time.
