John was excellent and met our needs. As a military member having to move into an unknown city it was critical we had someone to follow up with us and work the negotiations and other matters from a distance. We know that the demands we asked of him were taxing and urgent as the window of time was limited for us to be able to act and get a home in a financially acceptable matter, but despite all that we feel that John pulled through marvelously! We are extremely greatful for his service to us. He was professional, friendly, and courteous all the way through. He even went out of his way to fight for us with our mortgage financing bank and ensured that the closeout date was going to be consistent, which was originally not the case due to holiday demands. The result was that he saved us a lot of extra financial stress and heartache with our long distance move, and this was after a fairly tough negotiation between us and the seller. As stated before John was extremely professional, kind, courteous, and sympathetic to our needs! We can't help but feel that fate drew us a very lucky card finding him to be our realtor! The staff represented a friendliness akin to John, I would have more to say but we only had a few dealings with the staff as the vast majority of the time John was helping us. We want to give out an overall thank you to John for being patient with us and helping us (a Military family) find a beautiful quality home to live in. Upon meeting Mr. Baker it is apparent that he cares about finding you the perfect home. The first day of looking at houses, he gave me different tips about what to look for in a home such as new windows, gas heating, the overall condition of the neighborhood to name a few. This may seem like obvious advice to some, but for a first time home buyer, it was invaluable. I came away from that first experience grateful that I had someone knowledgeable about the area and surprised by how easy it had been. I couldn't imagine working with anyone else. Once we found what I believed to be the perfect home, Mr. Baker went above and beyond helping me set up both a sewer and home inspection that he recommended. I was extremely satisfied with the quality of both. The inspections were thorough and not biased in any way to influence me to continue with the sale or move on. The honesty and quality of the inspections led me to remove my offer on the first home. We kept looking, Mr. Baker meanwhile accommodating my busy schedule that included me being out of contact for 5 days, until we finally found an even better house than the first. He and I discussed a good offer that was comfortable with my budget which came in at just under 97 percent of the asking price. The sellers accepted the offer. When it came time to assess the inspection report and make a list of what we would like fixed, the list we made with was reasonable for both me and the seller and ended up being agreeable to both sides. Finally the final walk-through and closing day came around and Mr. Baker was diligent in making sure that everything was to my liking and that I understood everything I was signing. When I got the keys, he was genuinely happy for me and made it clear that I could give him a call if I had any questions about anything. Overall, Mr. Baker is above and beyond what I could have asked for in a realtor. There are people who care about the final bottom line and there are those who care about the people they work for and doing their absolute best in all things. Mr. Baker is the latter. He is honest, hardworking, respectful, easy to talk to, and a delight to work with. I know that when I eventually buy another home, Mr Baker has set the bar high in what I expect from a realtor.
