I am a licensed real estate agent in Ohio (1993-2009, retired), and in Florida ( 1995-present, semi-retired). I live in Venice (southern), Florida and recently found myself in need of an agent to sell a property I owned in Panama City. Since this is about an 8 hour drive, I knew I would not be able to be involved, but, as an agent myself, I know how to find the best possible person for the job. After much careful research I decided on Kelli White Garrett, of Century 21 Commander realty. I took a trip up there to meet her and was very favorably impressed. From the time we listed the property until the closing today, less than 90 days later, I have been increasingly impressed with her skills, knowledge, frequency of communication, and most of all willingness to do whatever is necessary to help her clients. She was able to sell it for full asking price, and close in less than 30 days. There were several could-have-been-disasters along the way, which she handled with speed and grace. This was a very modest, starter/fixer property, not a high value money maker. Further, since I am also an agent she would have to share a small portion of her fee with me. And yet, I clearly received the same standard of care and client service as would a multi-million dollar beachfront seller. I did not know Kelli before this , and we have no connections, personal or business. I cannot recommend her strongly enough to anyone who wants a great agent, and especially to out of town clients who need an agent they can completely rely on!
