We had talked to a couple realtors before finding LaShanda. We got the impression from other realtors that we were placed on the back burner. We were even told by a realtor that he was "too busy" to show us properties that week. We really liked a property and couldn't wait for our realtor to get around to showing it so we inquired about it directly to the listing brokerage, Century 21 and LaShanda called us back. We immediately loved LaShanda's responsiveness. Even though we told her we were working with a realtor she was helpful, kind and seemed to know a lot about the properties in the area (something we hadn't experienced with other realtors). Since we were using a USDA loan she explained that the property wouldn't qualify. Our realtor lacked that knowledge so a couple days later we called LaShanda back and asked if she would help us find our first home. From there LaShanda was quick to respond, knowledgable and helped us with all of our questions. And there were a lot of questions, my lender lacked communication skills and often left us out in the dark but LaShanda helped us through every step. Buying a home was one of my biggest dreams and the final touch at closing seeing "Congratulations Virginia and Francisco Vasquez" up on a screen with a picture of our home was heart warming. We have been enjoying our home now for a couple weeks and LaShanda still checks in to see how we are. I would recommend LaShanda to everyone! I've already passed out a couple of her cards.
