Leslie was born and raised in Fergus Falls, spending her summers at Pickerel Lake in Otter Tail County. Most of her large extended family lives in Fergus Falls and her ties to this amazing community run deep. She attributes her quick ascent to becoming a top producer in the area to an old-fashioned worth ethic instilled in her by her grandmothers at a very early age.
