Lestel Meade is an absolute angel. In 2017 she helped me through my first-time home-buying experience in an incredibly tough market, and in 2023 she helped me to sell it. Lestel graciously took on all the local operations of the sale, as I'm currently located 90 miles away, and even the closing was conducted remotely. What impressed me the most about Lestel was her promptness and recommendations for inspectors, contractors and awareness of neighborhoods. Although I am not familiar with this area, I felt comfortable and confident in her judgment. I would recommend Lestel Meade to friends and neighbors because of her experience in real estate and commuication skills. My friend, an experienced realestate agent recommended this agent. I trusted my friend's judgment and was impressed by the knowledge of this agent. I was kept current and was impressed by the communication skills of Lestel Meade. She recommended an inspector and followed up with specifics. Since I was bidding for this property the buyer wasn't taking all my requests into consideration. The buyer however gave an allowance for repairs. Directly after talking with Lestel Meade the home I was interested in came on the market. She was quick to inform me and attended the open house with me. My offer was accepted along with another offer. I was able to bid on this home and Lestel kept me in the loop.

We had been trying to decide between getting a reverse mortgage or selling outright. When we got the postcard about Lestel we decided to see what she could do for us. Our neighbor had sold his house with her just shortly before this and was satisfied with her services. Plus it was Century 21. I had not heard of Century 21 Humpal but my mom worked for Centyry 21 in the 80s & 90s. I knew them to be an honest and reliable company from my mom's experience. When Lestel Meade came to our house and talked with us we knew she would be right person for us to hire to sell the house. She told us that we didn't need to fix all the things we felt like we had to do before we could sell it. That was the first time we considered not fixing everything and it was very freeing. Lestel reinforced this with her attitude and respect for our needs. Lestel Meade waited before doing photos or actually putting the house up for sale. We needed a month plus to clear out all the clutter you end up collecting after 21 years in a house. Lestel understood that and gave us the time. We were also under pressure because we had waited too long to start the sale process and we had 5 weeks before we were expected at our summer job. Lestel made things very easy for us to concentrate on getting our stuff under control and packed up, donated, or thrown away. She was there with encouraging words. When we felt we weren't making progress she was there to give us an objective view and tell us she saw the progress from week to week. That encouragement helped a lot. She also gave us helpful suggestions that smoothed our transition out if our long time home. It was very stressful time for us. We were moving out of the home we raised our kids in and the personal modifications we had made for ourselves. Lestel helped us through the process and guided us when we needed it most.

Lestel has helped my family members and me sell and purchase homes several times. Her eye for detail and her knowledge of the sales market is excellent. She was on point with setting the sale price of our homes going on the market and worked hard to negotiate the best situation when buying. I very much appreciate how she takes care of all the little details and keeps us on track with deadlines, etc. She has extensive knowledge of neighborhoods and price trends in different neighborhoods.
