Entering the real estate business in Kinston, NC in 1983, I found the career meant for me. I have always enjoyed helping others, so you can imagine how excited I got over helping buyers find that first home. Then their families grew and they needed larger homes, or they retired, sold their house, and moved to the Beach. Before I knew it, I was one of the top producers. Served as President of the Board of Realtorsand got a few new subdivisions started.
Emerald Isle has been part of my life since early childhood, which was during the ferry days. I grew up vacationing here; and as a teenager coming on the weekends. I knew one day I would live at the Beach. I married my teenage sweetheart, had two beautiful girls, and then we purchased our "dream place" at Emerald Isle. It was a mobile home, but it was a dream come true. A place at the beach will keep your family together; it is a great way to spend more time with your kids and meet their friends.
After my husband died in 1994 and my kids were on their own, I moved to Emerald Isle (but they followed me) and started a new life and career with CENTURY 21 Coastland Realty. Working at the Beach is such a fun market. I love helping buyers find that perfect second home or just the right investment property. I especially love when customers come back to me or refer a friend or family member. What a compliment! Among my achievements and awards, my favorites are for quality service and the Century 21 Centurion producer. I call it my "Oscar."
When I am not working, I am playing. I love spending time with my two grandchildren. Next to real estate, that's what I am best at. I also love yoga, dancing, shopping , and reading on the Beach. My work has enabled me to meet so many people and make so many friends. I love what I do and always try to do my best. Let me put my best to work for you.
