I knew Lissette previously from her acquaintance with my daughter. She came highly recommended for her knowledge of the local real estate business. Over the years I had heard so many stories about how stressful the entire home buying process is and that the stress is inevitable so I came into it slowly and expecting alot of stress and difficulties. I heard horror stories about how much people hated their brokers, couldnt get in contact with them or they would act uninterested until it came down to money matters. I had such an opposite experience! I actually met Lissette by chance while at an open house i decided to stop at where she was subbing for a colleague. I didnt have a broker, I wasnt going to be buying that year, i was just getting a feel of what i like since i had never bought a home before. I had recently moved to NC from NY and didnt know what area I wanted to be in or even what I could afford. From our first meeting she was so transparent and informative and I immediately knew she was going to be my broker! Lissette took my info, asked me what I liked and began sending me ideas of homes that were in the price range I believed was good for me. And they were all meeting what I desired in a home. The next year (yes the next YEAR.. she was in contact with me for a whole year knowing I wasnt buying any time soon and still preparing me for what was to come lol shes so amazing) when I was ready to begin the process she was completely on top of it! Lissette always went above and beyond and even had answers prepared before I could ask the question. She had detailed information pre printed at each open house and made the entire process so smoothe and enjoyable. When I would come up with questions or concerns at off hours or after I had just seen or called her she was always available always helpful and would research anything I asked for clarity on. She was spot on with how to be strategic in putting in the offer when I decided on a home I fell in love with. She even walked my mom through the process and paperwork required of her through telephone calls and the internet from New York!! She made it so painless and held our hands so much that when I got into the new house I forgot to turn on the water.. she had handled everything else!!!! If it wasnt for me absolutely loving my house I'd go through it all again with Lissette in a heartbeat!! Shes not only amazing at what she does, shes just such a special person. My family has been settled in for a few months now, and she still can't get rid of me, shes family now!
