We had a very difficult time selling our house! It was an older house and we needed just the right buyer. Marla helped find that buyer and worked tirelessly on our sale. We ran in to obstacles that delayed the closing several times. We were no longer living in NY and Marla made sure to be there at every inspection. She researched the issues we were dealing with (including septic system) and quickly worked to come up with solutions. Although we were not able to be present at closing, Marla was and made sure our interests were protected. Again, there were unexpected problems that arose during closing and we were able to relax, knowing that Marla was there on our behalf. As it turned out, our attorney had to be out of town the day we closed, so we feel that Marla had to wear many hats at the table. We are forever grateful for the time and consideration Marla showed and highly recommend her services as a realtor. Marla adds a personal touch, passion for her role, and a sense of humor when needed to what can be a very emotional process! We spent 35 years in our home raising our family and although there were things about the house that weren't "updated" as many current buyers expect, Marla recognized and appreciated that we weren't just selling a house...we were selling our home!
