As a Native Washingtonian and a resident of Northern Virginia since 1978, I was first licensed to sell Real Estate in 1984. I combine my unique experience in the fields of banking, lending, new home sales, and residential real estate to provide my purchasers and sellers with up to date knowledge and advice. My business philosophy is to meet or exceed my clients' expectations by providing the best personalized service with the highest of ethical standards. My primary goal is to build lasting, long-term relationships with my clients.While building my real estate clientele, I pursued a successful management career in commercial loan operations, achieving an Assistant Vice President position with First Virginia Bank (now BB&T). After leaving my career in banking, I joined a nationally renowned builder as a new home sales agent. Later, in 2000, I teamed with a small real estate company to offer boutique residential sales services. In January 2003, I joined another brokerage where I assisted buyers and sellers in the Northern Virginia area.I am pleased to be a part of C21Redwood Realty now.

Buyer reviewWe previously worked with Mary Ellen when we bought our first townhouse 6 years ago. We knew she would do another wonderful job with our newest search of a single family home. Mary Ellen is polite and kind, she is responsive and responds to emails/ texts/ phone calls quickly, she knows her stuff and delivers the information you need to know in ways that make you feel respected and appreciated. The task in finding our home was not exactly easy, during a pandemic and during a sellers market. When there were no houses coming on the market, she still kept in constant communication and reassured us that we would be finding our dream home and she delivered!
