Buyer reviewMaryLou was the absolute best to work with in both the sale of our old home and the purchase of our new home. She sets and communicates clear expectations, has an incredible team that she works with, was patient and understanding yet driven and high energy, and made imperative recommendations of who else to work with in the area. She truly made our dreams come true on an incredibly tight timeline. MaryLou was recommended to us from a friend in the area who had previously worked with her. My husband and I had been working with another realtor in the New Market area but I did not fully trust him and felt concerned to be making such a huge life change with him. The first time we met MaryLou, all of my fears were subsided, I knew MaryLou was the right person to 'captain our ship' to sell our first home and purchase one that would be perfect for us. MaryLou is an excellent communicator and set very clear expectations for us to achieve in order to sell our home. Not only did MaryLou guide us in the sale of our home, but she truly demonstrated compassion, patience and flexibility in the process. We had set a date for the goal of listing our house and were not able to meet it- MaryLou was SO understanding, took the pressure off of us (that we had placed on ourselves) and told us to breathe. What a relief to work with someone that truly understands that family comes first! MaryLou took it from there! She has an INCREDIBLE team of designers and photographers that staged our home. We sold within the first 2 weeks of being listed! Now for the buying process. MaryLou, yet again, hit it out of the park. She recommended only the best team to work with in the process, including an outstanding lender and leading builder with a terrific reputation. She really knows the area and went above and beyond to make recommendations for us- she even made suggestions for local daycares and dog-walkers! I feel like MaryLou took care of everything leading up to settlement and allowed us to focus on packing, moving and our family. Not only did everything go extremely smoothly in the settlement processes but MaryLou followed up to see how the moving process went and to assure we were satisfied once we were in our new home. MaryLou is the most kind, supportive, driven and high energy realtor I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I would consider MaryLou a true friend, excellent neighbor and expert realtor- I would recommend her to everyone!

Buyer reviewWe had been neighbors for a number of years so we knew MaryLou Fisher. We have watched her raise her two boys, seen her commitment to the community, her insistence on things being done right, and her attention to detail. We had seen her professionalism up close and never considered dealing with any other realtor. We made the right decision! Ours was a somewhat unique situation - two 70+ year olds living in a community of Generation X and Y'ers. Our tastes, life style, health issues and focus differed considerably from many of the young families in our community. Mary Lou appreciated our situation, worked with us on "updating" our home while searching for properties in the Frederick area that would suit our needs. She found the perfect location, and we could not be happier. Mary Lou kept us informed every step of the way, She was especially good with explaining details to my husband who was somewhat apprehensive about the major downsizing we were undertaking. She put his mind at ease. She often went above and beyond to help me. I especially appreciated that she was always upfront with us when it came to making difficult decisions. She didn't sugar coat anything; she had us focus on those aspects of the sale that were critical and not to obsess on others. She has been super patient and willing to go the long haul with us to find the right house for our family. We never felt it was just about selling us a house. She worked with me and gave me a list of repairs/remodeling that fit my budget to get the house ready. She gave me the information on the market value and we as a team came to an agreeable sales price that I wanted and needed. She did her staging and advertising magic and we had numerous people make appointments to see the house in the first week. On that second week, we received an offer. She constantly communicated with me throughout the negotiations so I was informed and made my decisions to get the price I wanted. We closed that same month and I couldn't be happier. I would gladly recommend MaryLou to anyone buying or selling a home.

Marylou was patient with me and completely understood my need to be sure we got the home on the market as soon as possible. She gave me advice on what I needed to do and what I didn't need to do (just as important!) to get the house ready. She also had plenty of referrals for me so it wasn't hard to hire fast and competent help to get the house ready. Her expert advice and professional manner resulted in my home selling within just a few days. I could not have asked for a better experience and intend to recommend Marylou to my friends and family!
