My career was launched in 2005 on the beautiful Outer Banks NC, relocating back to roots of Hampton Roads VA in 2014. I am knowledgeable of Hampton Roads and Eastern NC, licensed in both states. In addition to home sales I am also an instructor of Pre Licensing Real Estate course for Churchland Academy of Real Estate, CARE.

Buyer reviewI have known Melinda for over 20 years and we both had relocated to VA and I had been renting and decided it was time for me to look into buying and I knew Melinda was an agent so I contacted her and told her what I was looking to do. Melinda was always available for any questions or concerns especially me being a first time home buyer. She made me feel very comfortable when deciding on a home. She recommended the finance company and they were awesome. Melinda I feel went over and beyond to help me and direct me. She never acted as though I was a bother. I can't say enough about how good she was to deal with, there would not be enough room to state all the good things I would say about Melinda. Will recommend her over and over again. While Melinda was out of town Diane helped me out with any questions I had. She got back to me very quick and she was extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

She has surrounded her self with like minded professionals including her network of painters, Bathroom renovator's, and electricians. Melinda handles everything to the smallest detail and has great attention to detail. She keeps you informed and communicates with you about the process so you never get the feeling of being on your own. She has so much information and ideas right at her finger tips! I will always recommend Melinda to all my friends and family if they need assistance from a realtor! She is so polite and professional even when things do not work out like we did on our first try to purchase a house which did not appraise. She went back to the drawing board and we kept at it until she found us the right one!! She is a go getter!! She is still helping us to get settled which just proves how unbelievable she is as a realtor!!
