Initially I was going to use Veterans United as lender. They recommended Nancy as an agent familiar with the VA loan process. She was much more responsive than two other agents with whom I had preliminary discussions. This was largely an internet sale, although Nancy arranged to have my sister tour the property. Between my sister and Nancy I chose this property as the best among three that were priced the same, but were very different settings. Nancy was quietly persuasive in getting me to consider this area of Duluth, which quite frankly I hardly knew existed. This was a difficult process due to Covid. I was in Baltimore and was reliant onNancy for advice and recommendations, which I largely followed. We had a couple of hiccups, most significantly with First American Title, but it is hard to apply normal criteria during these extraordinary times. We ere fortunate in finding the reason for an inaccurate lien report. There were the usual dramas of home buying, but Nancy was a calm and reassuring presence throughout. Very easy to work with. Even keel, calm, no drama. Kept me on track since I was imagining problems in Baltimore and did not see the actual property until closing day. This was a case were the Agent, Nancy Murphy, had to do extra work finding and describing properties and guiding me through my early choices- which might well not have worked out- to consider alternatives. I learned to trust her instincts and experience.

We had a very smooth home buying process. Nancy was accessible and knowledgeable and paid close attention to detail when looking at houses. She helped us find our perfect home and we could not be happier! We would highly recommend Nancy to any of our friends or family looking into buying a home in the future.

Nancy Murphy initially helped me purchase this home in 2014 for my two children who where attending local colleges in the area. Trying to purchase a home from another state can be overwhelming, however with Nancy's help it was pretty painless. From finding the right home to the time of closing. So when it came time to sell this home, I wouldn't have contacted anyone but Nancy. She explains the process clearly, gives excellent advice & listens to your concerns. She showed up for appointments that I couldn't make, since I reside out of the area. She was in constant contact, even answering my calls & texts outside of office hours.
