Both of them are married and one has moved out of state. I recently became a Grandpa to a very beautiful little girl, Noa. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from North Carolina Wesleyan College and served in the Morehead City Police Department for 12 years before moving to Jacksonville. In 1995, I opened The Shepherd's Shoppe, Christian Book Store. Through the book store, I served retail customers in Jacksonville for ten years. In 2005, I discovered the joy of helping people buy a home. I sold The Shepherd's Shoppe and have since placed my full efforts in building a Real Estate business. In 2010, I sold over 7 MILLION dollars worth of property earning the Masters Diamond Award from Century 21. In order to better serve my customers, I have earned designations as a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) and a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE). Professionally I served as President(2013) of the Jacksonville Board of Realtors. Throughout my professional career the one common thread has always been service before self. I have known Royce from Rotary for many years, and I knew his work ethic, professionalism, and drive to achieve the highest results would mean positive results for selling my property. Royce's strength is his ability to communicate and work effectively with all people. He has a very positive presence that leads to open and effective communication. I like the way "he tells it like it is!" Royce was extremely effective listing our property. He succinctly captured the positive points of our property and accented them to draw interest. He provided very sound advice about the entire process, from pricing to closing, to me and my wife. I believe he lived up to the Rotary Four Way Test by ensuring both the buyer and seller were winners in the deal. Royce was always quick and accurate in responding to my questions. I greatly valued his advice and recommendations. Royce has built a strong team of professionals behind him. His assistant was wonderful! Royce's assistant took very effective pictures of the house to accent its attractiveness. Her presentation of the house surely helped us sell the house and obtain continuous interest in the sale. I couldn't be more satisfied with the sale. My house sold for list price which indicated excellent price determination and guidance by Royce. His guidance and council on what things to repair or replace was extremely helpful and made a significant difference. Thanks to Royce, I firmly believe the sale of my property was a win-win for both myself, the seller, and the new buyer. That is a great achievement!

Seller reviewRoyce offered advice, contacted us immediately as information needed updating and navigated through the interesting circumstances surrounding the sake of the property. Always available and made the process easy. Royce went above and beyond what was expected to get our house sold to include working with contractors to fix things. We were an out of the area sale but Royce kept up with communication, making it feel as if we were right there in town.

Seller reviewI would highly recommend Royce to anyone, whether I knew them or not. Royce was there with us for every detail. He always answered his phone, responded to texts and was proactive in keeping us updated on things, which was very important to us. With all of that and his personal attention to the sale, we had dozens of showings and the eventual buyer within a month of listing. He's a great guy.
