Seller reviewOverall we were very happy with Seth for both the buying and the selling of our home. Everything was done professionally, quickly, and effectively. There was only one area where we did not see eye to eye at first - that was dealing with the listing price of the home. However, Seth was fully supportive of where we wanted to start the house at and did significant leg work and extra research to find closer comps to that starting price, and we came to a starting point that was pretty close to what we actually sold the house for in the end. I can't stress Seth's timeliness, helfpfulness, professionalism, responsiveness, and effectiveness enough. If we weren't leaving the Rapid City area I'd definitely want to work with him again.

Seller reviewI was referred to Seth using the USAA matching tool to buy my house 4 years ago. He worked so hard and is so personable that I made sure to let him sell my house as well. Seth is just a good person, through and through. He is who you want fighting for you, whether youre buying or selling. You know anything and everything he does is for you, not for him or his business. I always felt like I was the top priority, and didnt even consider he had other properties he was working just as hard for, because he is that invested in you and your family. I truly felt his greatest enjoyment came from seeing his buyers/sellers happy, not from making commission. It was a rough sale for sure. What could have been over in just a couple weeks took a few months, but Seth was there throughout the entire process and always kept me sane and optimistic. Despite my initial, and probably constant, freakouts he pushed forward and got me more money that I ever expected... I honestly believe I could not have done it without him. We got an offer on our first viewing and it was $15k below asking, but during counter-offer after counter-offer we got a second offer from our 4th viewing that was exactly what we expected to get before listing. We accepted this offer, went through all of the contingency removal process (which included completely replacing the roof, ripping up the front yard to fix a small hole in the main sewer line, as well as several other things)...then literally 2-3 days before closing, the buyers backed out. What was originally $2000 in escrow turned into $3000 when Seth fought hard for us to get an extra thousand. We were devastated as we had already moved out and were paying rent elsewhere, expecting the sale to go through. Seth stayed optimistic and immediately got the house back on the market the same day. He had an open house a few days later on the weekend and said it was the busiest he had ever seen. I firmly believe he was working harder than we even know. He must have been calling all of his contacts and ensuring the house was packed, but just didnt feel the need to boast about it to us. He is just a hard worker, plain and simple. His performance speaks for itself. Well we ended up getting a 3rd offer, which we accepted after some interesting back-and-forth with the buyer (they retracted the offer then we convinced them to resubmit it with a contingency). Then that buyer backed out less than a week later. Despite being before contingency, Seth got us $250 in escrow even though the buyer had zero responsibility to do so. At this point our house showed as being on market for almost 2 months despite being "under contract" for all but about 7 days of it. So he smartly took it off the market and re-listed it. Literally within a day or two we had the highest offer we had yet. We of course accepted and closed just a month later. I dont know everything that Seth was doing behind the scenes but I am sure its more than you can ever imagine. And if he suggests you do something, you should strongly consider it. He is nothing like the nightmare realtors you hear/read about. Everything he says and does is for you. You will not only find a great realtor, but a really good friend, in Seth and his office.
