We were in town (from Colorado) for a job interview when we first met Sharel Hebert. She was having an open house on a home we were interested in. She spent the next 2 hours talking to us about the house, the area, the community, the dos and don'ts and taking the time getting to know us. She even took us next door to her nephew's home so we could see their pool and yard! She even reached out to a friend of hers at another plant my husband interviewed at to see if there was word on his application (it had been 2 months and no word). She stayed in touch for the next month and a half till we got word that my husband got hired at one of the local refineries. Honestly, it didn't matter who Sharel worked for, we were going to use her as our realtor! She went above and beyond and continues to do so. We are very grateful to have met her. She was very thorough when it came to answering our questions about a certain property. She'd provide details that would be important to a homeowner; increase in insurance premiums due to its location, the damage the area had sustained from the hurricanes, getting history on the homes that wouldn't otherwise be available to the public or why we wouldn't want that area of town. Coming from a different state, there were a lot of details she would provide that were helpful for a homeowner to know to adapt to life in Lake Charles. At the final walk through and at closing, she let me know what utilities and what documentation and how I would need to get them turned on and in our name. I've never had a realtor do those things. And she even followed up with me while she was on vacation to make sure I hadn't had any issues!! If there was a higher ranking than Excellent, I'd mark it!!
