Born and raised in Fairfax County and currently an Arlington resident, Shelly Lowe Porter is a Northern Virginia native. After graduating with honors from James Madison University, Shelly worked as a program manager for a government contracting company. In 2005, she decided to use her analytical and negotiating skills to help people buy and sell homes. As a Realtor, Shelly understands that moving is an important transition. She works to ensure that everyone involved has a positive experience. She is a Certified Cartus Relocation Specialist and a member of various local real estate groups, giving her clients access to a network of resources throughout the transaction as well as movers, contractors, and other services after the sale.

Seller reviewShelly was great! I am efficient, organized and I have a "get it done now" personality. Shelly was able to handle me and she was always available and ready to meet and talk. She had great ideas and she followed through immediately with everything we discussed. The night we sold our house, Shelly was attending a charity event. It was late on a Saturday night and she was a presenter at the event. She was on the phone and working on her computer in between her time as a presenter. She even offered to stop by our house around midnight if we wanted. We had a bidding war going on and she was on top of everything. We finally sold the house and signed the contract at 1:00 in the morning. I was blown away by her level of commitment. I keep a very neat house and pride myself on my decorating skills. Shelly has an amazing eye. She immediately came in and looked around the rooms and made suggestions for how we could rearrange the furniture for the open house. Every suggestion was brilliant and worked well. Our house sold in two days! I would highly recommend her!!!!
