Personal Profile
I have been a resident of Citrus County since my wife and I moved here in 1981. We love the area and would not want to live anywhere else. Our children were born and raised here. I grew up on Cupsaw Lake, New Jersey and in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I earned a degree in broadcasting from the University of Florida.
I had been in the home building and remodeling industry for 30 years here in Citrus County. My wife and I had a ceramic tile distributorship, with a showroom and warehouse, and supplied tile to the local builders, tile setters, and general public. I joined Century 21 J.W. Morton Real Estate in November of 2012 and have been running full speed ever since. It's a great place to work, and this office bends over backwards for the agents and our customers. I knew the owners, Jim and Karen Morton, before I came aboard, and I knew that they were excellent people.
My wife and I are blessed with a wonderful son and daughter, who married a great guy, and they have our two terrific grandchildren. My interests include being with my family, going to the beach, kayaking, sailing, riding bikes, old cars, watching football, and worshipping my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I totally enjoy real estate. Bringing buyers and sellers together, where everyone is satisfied, is very rewarding. I have received the Quality Service Pinnacle Award in 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. I have also received the Master Ruby Award in 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2021. Buyer reviewStefan Stuart was the only agent we dealt with that consistently sent us the listings we were looking for and followed up with us on the same one I was about to call him on. He is an excellent communicater and getting the information we were looking for promptly. We came to trust his honest opinions and 100% integrity. Being our eyes, he helped us in making an over the phone offer on our house in an extremely difficult seller's market.

Seller reviewStefan Stuart absolutely went above and beyond, in every possible way, from our very first phone call (we've yet to meet in person; I live in St. Marys, Georgia; had inherited the home due to my mother's death.) A few months after Covid descended, and shortly before I put the house on the market, my husband suffered a severe stroke; I became his sole caregiver until he passed away in late November; I had fallen and broken my hip about a week before his death, so, even after his passing, was unable to make any trips down to Inverness, trips which surely would've relieved some of Stefan's added burdens. During all those difficult months, Stefan showed compassion and understanding toward me, and grasped my challenges. He assisted me -- nearly daily -- with any and all issues which needed to be addressed; even going so far as to "rescue" sentimental items I so much wanted to keep (and had described to him), before the auction "vultures" descended; he is still patiently holding the items for me; I am beyond grateful. In summation: I'm indebted to Linda and Bill Parker for having recommended Stefan; he was stellar!

Seller reviewWe put our house up for sale, moved to our new home and then the corona virus hit. Offers and showings were meager at once thanks to everyone wanting to see how the impacts of the virus. The Internet listing compiled was professional and helped sell the property probably more than anything else. Stefan had excellent follow-up and kept us informed of each step along the way. No complaints on his performance as an agent. The only thing we both agreed upon was the initial listed price of our home was probably set too high for the market in Inverness. Stefan is professional and has great communication skills. He is very good following up and can be trusted to do what is best in the interests of the buyer. A great communicator.
