Stephen impressed us from the moment my husband talked to him on the phone. You can tell when a broker is truly experienced and qualified. Stephen is just that. More than that he knows the market and he is connected to the community and top notch outside resources where he conducts business. Stephen conducted himself in a truly caring and professional way. Stephen is a outstanding communicator and negotiator. We have bought and sold several properties over the years and NEVER has a broker worked for us like Stephen. Most brokers just want to list you and then show up for the commission. Not Stephen Burright... he actively marketed our property. He worked diligently to get it sold. Stephen went out of his way to get our property sold and that is an important statement because in our case we were selling a rental and we had a renter who was trying to scare all potential buyers away with his extremely poor behavior! That being said our renters' tactics would have worked except Stephen knew the right people to help us and he gave the right advice on how to deal with the issue, so that in the end our property did get sold. We were out-of-town sellers and Stephen connected us to the right people (top notch lawyer and contractor) to help with our situation. Most realtors would not have involved themselves in such a mess, but Stephen cares about his clients, and he got the issue resolved... and fast. Stephen worked hard on our sale... you would have thought that he was marketing a million dollar property and that we were clients of great status. I believe that Stephen sees his clients as life long customers and that is how he treats everyone. I can tell you that if we ever sell or buy property in the future that we will ONLY work with Stephen Burright. Stephen can always be reached and he is always working. We doubt he takes time off. You can tell that Stephen Burright loves what he does. On the day of our closing Stephen was taking a client to the coast to look at properties and yet after a long day there, he returned to Longview to be present at our closing. Stephen did not have to do that, but that is the way he conducts business. Now most people who want to sell their property want their realtor to give them a BIG number valuation for their property, but in our case, our property was on the low end of the scale (a rental in a not-so-great neighborhood in poor condition) and we didn't expect much in terms of a market valuation. We were mega surprised when Stephen told us that our property was worth more than we thought it was... and guess what? Stephen Burright really knew the market and he was correct! Stephen's valuation was spot on and he was also correct when he told us that it would sell fast. We had a buyer in three days! Stephen is the most educated, responsible broker that my husband and I have ever hired. Stephen works in both Clark and Cowlitz County... yes he has offices in both places and yes he works his tail off in both areas. My husband and I have never written a review for any broker before because none of the realtors we have hired in the past deserved this kind of recommendation, but Stephen does deserve this level of recommendation. Stephen Burright is simply the best realtor that anyone could sign with. Stephen takes his job seriously, he isn't a promise maker... he is a promise keeper!
