Sue Ellen grew up in Bell County enjoying the benefits of being raised in such a unique and encouraging environment. Her parents, Bill & Ruth Bartlett, instilled in all their children the value of hard work. She has a passion for her clients and their families' needs. Becoming friends and truly connecting with her buyers and sellers makes this profession so worthwhile and meaningful. It isn't a simple transaction, but rather, becoming lifelong friends and living life together. Her business isn't just a regular job, it's simply something she does. It's a part of her lifestyle and in her blood.
After graduating from Baylor University with a degree in Accounting and a minor in Real Estate, Sue Ellen earned her CPA license and was an accountant before staying home to raise her family. After living away from Texas for many years, Sue Ellen moved back to Salado in 1998 and has been an active Realtor® for over 26 years.
Continuing education is very important to Sue Ellen. She earned her real estate Broker's license in 2000 and has since earned the designations of ABR® (Accredited Buyer's Representative), GRI (Graduate, Real Estate Institute), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist), and Texas Realtors® Leadership Program (TRLP). She has also been awarded numerous Top Producer and Quality Service awards through the CENTURY 21 System.
Volunteering in the community is ingrained in Sue Ellen. She finds joy in service and nurturing those around her. Sue Ellen is currently serving as Treasurer for the Temple-Belton Board of Realtors. She has previously served as Director for the Salado Water Board Supply Corporation, Director & Secretary for the Temple-Belton Board of Realtors, Salado Education Foundation, Texas Bar Grievance Committee, and on the Finance Committee at her church.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, crafting, and spending time with her family. Her greatest accomplishments are her two children and being "Curly" to her grandchildren.

Buyer reviewSue has been exemplary in our experience recently not only buying, but she also sold our dream home to wonderful people. We consider Sue as family now and Bartlett Century 21. Sue was a great asset in all phases of today's market. Such a real pleasure to get to know a wonderful person both personally and professionally.

Seller reviewMy husband is extremely cautious with any choices made in life, in less than 30 minutes he knew we found the right person to sell our home. Extremely professional, felt like we were a team effort. Exceptional experience, working on closing on a new home with her assistance at this time. Would and have recommended Sue Ellen to family/friends for future assistance in selling their homes.
