She really knew the market and was willing to check out comparable when we were contemplating the price. she helped us find local, quick, and reliable contractors to do some minor work, and ultimately an engineer when there was question about the foundation. I also appreciated how hands on she was during more difficult parts of the sale process, such as when she flagged for us that our closings were timed such that the proceeds might not timely arrive. Susan handled all of this well and got a great price for our house. Along the way, she became a friend. I was also impressed by her use of photography and the creation of a postcard mailer, a four-color marketing brochure, and a detailed website for my property. Once I heard Susan's presentation on how she would approach the sale of the home, I never doubted that she would deliver exactly as promised. Susan is the quintessential real estate professional, but she combines a sensitive and intuitive understanding of human behavior and emotion with her business practices. Mine was an especially emotionally challenging sale of my family's historic property as I moved toward settling my parents' estate. Susan was keenly aware that this sale was more than a business transaction, and treated me with great kindness and patience.
