Teresa Knowles was born in Caswell County, then moved to Rockingham County in 1977, where she graduated from Reidsville Senior High School in 1978. Before obtaining her real estate salesperson license, she worked at the local Burlington Industries Textile Plant. Teresa is married to Greg Knowles, who is retired and was the past owner of GK Transmissions in Reidsville, NC. They have two children and six grandchildren.
Teresa graduated from Dan Mohr Real Estate School in Greensboro, NC, in 1986 and from the Realtors Institute (GRI) in Chapel Hill, NC, in 1989. She also holds several designations, including Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), member of the REALTORS® Land Institute (RLI), Certified Short Sale Specialist (CSP), Certified Listing Expert (CLE). Teresa values staying informed and educated to better serve her clients and customers in the ever-changing real estate market.Teresa believes not only in education but also a desire to give back to the community she serves. Currently serving on Rockingham County Board of Equalization and Review and The Better Business Bureau.
In January 1999, Teresa purchased the late Lee Stanley Realty, renaming the company to Knowles & Associates. She also acquired the Century 21 Real Estate LLC franchise in March 2004, resulting in the company becoming CENTURY 21 The Knowles Team.
The Knowles Team has been honored with the Centurion "Team" award every year since 2005 and is regarded as one of the leading companies serving Rockingham and Caswell Counties.

Buyer reviewTeresa was referred to us from from some folks she represented as a selling agent. She treated us just as she would have treated any member of her family. She looked after us beyond our closing date. She even told us about money through the transaction of our new home we were owed that we had no idea we were owed. She is a go getter. Bottom line is I would use Teresa again tomorrow if I didn't already purchase my dream home through her. She goes above and beyond. Please no matter what you do get a good home inspection. It was a little expensive but totally worth it! It saved us a lot of money in the long run.

Buyer reviewTeresa was the absolute best while helping me. She was always there to answer questions. If I ever had a question that she could not answer, she would lead my in the right direction to get it answered. She set up all appointments and she was available when I needed anything. She showed me houses that were in my price range and pointed out things that I needed to know about each one. Teresa was very good with knowing the location of places. I would reccomend Teresa to anyone I know that is looking to buy a house, because I know she would treat them the way I was treated and you can not get any better than that.
