Teresa Knowles was born in Caswell County, then moved to Rockingham County in 1977, where she graduated from Reidsville Senior High School in 1978. Before obtaining her real estate salesperson license, she worked at the local Burlington Industries Textile Plant. Teresa is married to Greg Knowles, who is retired and was the past owner of GK Transmissions in Reidsville, NC. They have two children and six grandchildren.
Teresa graduated from Dan Mohr Real Estate School in Greensboro, NC, in 1986 and from the Realtors Institute (GRI) in Chapel Hill, NC, in 1989. She also holds several designations, including Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), member of the REALTORS® Land Institute (RLI), Certified Short Sale Specialist (CSP), Certified Listing Expert (CLE). Teresa values staying informed and educated to better serve her clients and customers in the ever-changing real estate market.Teresa believes not only in education but also a desire to give back to the community she serves. Currently serving on Rockingham County Board of Equalization and Review and The Better Business Bureau.
In January 1999, Teresa purchased the late Lee Stanley Realty, renaming the company to Knowles & Associates. She also acquired the Century 21 Real Estate LLC franchise in March 2004, resulting in the company becoming CENTURY 21 The Knowles Team.
The Knowles Team has been honored with the Centurion "Team" award every year since 2005 and is regarded as one of the leading companies serving Rockingham and Caswell Counties.

Seller reviewAs a licensed Florida realtor, I have a good idea of how things are supposed to go. I had a very unique property and needed someone with solid expertise and an eye for what would turn the property quickly. After years of renting the house, it needed a lot and I was overwhelmed due to living so far away. Teresa knew exactly what to do and without hesitation, sprung into action. The suggestions Teresa made were budget friendly and made literally tens of thousands of dollars difference. The house was under contract in 2 days. There is no need to look any further than Teresa Knowles and her dynamite team.

Buyer reviewTo work with Teresa is to gain another sister/best friend. Her and my daughter love each other more than me (only slightly hurts). We used her 13 years ago and again this year and hopefully we are in our forever home but if not then we will use her again (unless she decides to retire one day but she would have to emerge from retirement to help me)! She helped my parents many years ago (she would kill me if I said how many), my inlaws and now us twice...that's when you know you have a gem when you trust her with everyone you care for.

Outstanding in selling the property of two houses in one sale.
