I was born and raised in Enterprise. I graduated from Enterprise High School (Class of '80), attended ESJC and graduated from the University of Alabama (Class of '83) with a degree in Marketing.
I am married to Bruce Averett, a CPA and lifelong resident of the area also. We have 2 adult children, both accountants, living in Birmingham, AL.
