Lauren Smith directed the sale of a house my father owned in Smackover, Arkansas. She knew the the process and communicated with us in a timely manner. After several phone calls to other agents, with no response, I received a phone call from Lauren. Not only did she call me back, but I could immediately tell that she was knowledgeable and trustworthy - because she told it like it was. We were surprised at the cost of housing here in El Dorado - but she told us upfront the reason behind it and that, yes, the market here was unique. We began a phone "relationship" while we were selling our home in Nashville. She helped us through a few bumps on that end while working diligently on this end. I would send her houses we liked and she would email me where the house was, what condition it was in, and if it was even still available. She balanced my husbands desire for price and my desire for the perfect home! Once I made it to El Dorado to find our new home, she spent an entire weekend with me and my family going from house to house and scouring the area for more to view. I left having placed an offer on a home. Once I returned to Nashville we found out the offer was rejected and we needed to start again! Lauren had a house in mind and went and video toured it for us!! From that video tour we found the perfect home for us! For us, Lauren Smith was not just our realtor - she became a friend. From the very start she took an interest in our lives, not just as a potential sale, but as people. I would highly recommend Lauren to anyone looking to buy or sell a home!
