Seller reviewI met Melanie through her husband, who was recommended to me by another realtor to manage my rental property in Arlington for many years. Over the years, Melanie took more and more responsibility for managing my property. It was an opportunity to experience how smart, organized, efficient, and resourceful she is. Melanie is a hard worker, accessible, and extremely personable! I feel incredibly lucky to have had her by my side while going through this process! Melanie sold my house on the first day it was placed on the market! (Which to me spoke of her connections with other realtors, and the market in general.) She was extremely professional unbiased, and thoughtful when elucidating the pros and cons of the offers that came in. She wanted me to decide without being pushed in any way by her opinions, but was generous with feedback when I asked for it. She and her partner staged the house to make it show so well. In short, I could not have had a better experience!

Seller reviewI sent a survey to multiple brokers asking several questions. Melanie's area experience, years of sales, industry knowledge and other answers were critical and perfect for the quick sale of my house. Melanie's experience in the area, Glenn's staging and her team of contractors to help improve the property were huge assets helping sell my house quickly. Melanie's use of DocuSign worked out great. I turned over control to Melanie and left for Florida after discussing the improvements to be done. She managed the contractors for painting and general improvements and kept me in the loop every step of the way. She helped me understand the improvements status, getting ready for the sale events, process for the sale and the events for getting to the closing. Very professional and kept me informed about everything thru timely texts and phone calls. Glenn's and Melanie's staging, improvement ideas, sales process and advertising maximized my house's value and the sale exceeded my expectations. Very professional and smooth process.

Melanie is truly the top 1% of the top 1%. Trust and integrity are two absolute musts when entering any business relationship. Ms. Hogg receives top marks in both areas. her ability to deliver good news with flair, bad news with grace, and honest assessments with care is amazingly impressive. Although not a broker term, Ms. Hogg's 'bedside manner' is equitable - if not exceeds - the best physicians.

Buyer reviewThis was my third home purchase and, upon reflection, I've never felt as informed, coached and mentored throughout this purchase as I had in previous purchases. This is the most aggressive market that I've participated in during my 30 years of living in this area. Melanie kept me informed, gave me an understanding of the pros/cons during each negotiation and is delightful to work with. She's professional and encouraging. I would recommend her for first time as well as seasoned home buyers. From knowledge about selecting your mortgage loan to understanding the various home appliances to window treatments to tree care, I consider her to be an expert in all of those topics + more. At least once during each showing, I would ask her "what is this" and she always had an answer. It truly was a pleasure working with and I highly endorse using her to purchase, sell or rent your home.
