We knew Appleton was a sellers market, which is great if you're selling, not always so great when you're buying on a timeline. Christine sold our home in Fond du Lac in record time and above asking price, which meant we had about 45 days to find a new one. She showed several homes to us, and every time we saw one come up on line she double checked to make sure it was still available and made the first possible appointment for a private showing. In many cases the homes had an agreement before we could even get to see them. She explained this was due to low inventory, it would be a challenge, but together we would find something. Of the homes that we did see, she always had something positive to say about each one, even though a few seemed to need a demolition sign rather than a for sale sign. After a few weeks of searching , she mentioned a home that was going to go on the market but the seller wasn't quite ready. We decided to see it because what's the worst that could happen, we might like it. Like it we did, the minute I walked into the kitchen I was done looking, The rest of the house was just as great for us. We made an offer that was accepted, Christine stepped us through each part of the process and made it as easy as possible.
