We had contact with Christine Fields initially in the fall of 2015 at an open house. We mentioned we were going to be putting our home for sale in February of 2016 and were looking at the pricing possibilities of our next home. She conducted us through the home, asked thoughtful questions and we gave her our contact information. As we were leaving the property I mentioned to my husband that those sellers were lucky to have someone like her for their realtor. In December of 2015 we received a Christmas card from Christine with a reminder if we were selling our home she would be happy to help. In February of 2016 we contacted a local Fond du Lac Realtor thinking that the local realtor would have more knowledge of the market. The home remained on the market for 6 months. We rarely heard from the initial realtor who listed the home with us and never received any feedback regarding comments from people looked through the open house. We ended up with open houses every two weeks and only two private showings with a total of 8 people recorded as coming through the home. We took the home off the market and waited until January of 2017 to re-list. In the meantime Christine had been reaching out every few months,asking how our home sale was going and she would be happy to help if needed. We decided to contact Christine. She came into our home, listened to how the previous listing was conducted and without denigrating the previous realtor noted several areas where the sales potential of our home could be improved. First with the small amount of foot traffic the pricing appeared to not be on point for the Fond du Lac market. Second, feedback to the customer was important for success. After our initial contact with Christine in 2015 and the occasional reminder from her it was clear she was an excellent realtor, with customer satisfaction her priority. The home was listed, went "live" had three immediate private showings and we had an agreement to sell in less than two weeks for more than asking. Christine Fields could not have done a better job or presenting our home, communicating and working with us on what needed to be done to show our home to it's potential. We will and have recommended Christine to friend and relatives.. some even as far from Appleton as Eden Wisconsin. She is a highly professional, friendly and caring realtor.
