Craig Schreiber of CENTURY 21 Affiliated

Part of buying a home is knowing what you can afford and sticking to it. I am a single mother, and although the mortgage company told me I could spend more, I was not willing to do this and be outside of my comfort zone financially. Craig listened to me, took the time to understand my reasons and helped me find the right home for us within my comfort zone. Never did I feel pressured in any way. He was knowledgeable of the area, which was very helpful because I am not from the area. He always helped explain the technical aspect of things and gave me time to think about things when I was unsure. Craig has excellent communication, getting back to me with answers to my questions most of the time within the hour when possible. I could not have had a better experience or a better agent!

When we sold our home in Lodi, Craig Schreiber displayed a strong knowledge of the market. He was clear and direct in answering all our questions. He was incredibly accessible throughout our sale. His help working through negotiations and the sale itself were invaluable. I would recommend Craig to anyone looking for an experienced, personable, no-nonsense agent.

I may be a little bias with my review because Craig is my big brother, but all the "rumors" I have heard from friends that have worked with him or the Century 21 Affiliated office in Portage are true! Nothing but positive things to say about my (first time) home buying experience! Craig fully listened to my needs/wants for a condo, and was great with his communication when it came to setting up showings, going through the offer process, being there for the inspection etc etc. He also "thought outside the box" in my search. Initially, I was looking for a 1000 + sq ft condo, with 2 bedrooms and ideally 1.5+ baths. When we started looking at condos he noticed I was gravitating towards 2 bedrooms, 1 baths around 900 sq ft, and one day a 900+ sq ft condo, with 1 bedroom and 1 bath, plus a sun room popped up that he thought could work for me. And you know what…that was the condo I ending up buying! If he hadn't mentioned the listing to me (which he found through a price change notification popping up for him) I never would have known about it! Thanks to Craig noticing/taking note of the style of condos I was looking at he was willing to "take a chance" and forwarded me the listing. And I'm glad he did! After I received the accepted offer we found out 3 other people were scheduled to look at it. If we hadn't jumped on it I could have lost out on a condo that is in the perfect location for me (15 min from work, 5 min from the animal shelter I volunteer at, and close to both the East and West sides of Madison). All the rumors you hear about Craig Schreiber being a realtor that truly cares and listens to your needs are true, and I'm not just saying that because I'm his sister! :)

I only reccommend 1 person from Century and that is Craig Schreiber. He is amazing, professional, and the only person I would ever go through.

Craig was a pleasure to work with and extremely helpful in assisting us to identify the right property for us. He and went above and beyond the call of duty more than once as we moved to closing. Highly recommended.
