In my free time, you will usually find me at the office, focusing on my clients' needs and further educating myself about anything related to real estate. Life is too short. I'm proud to call DeKalb County home. Having grown up in a rural, DeKalb County farming community, then moving to the City of DeKalb to raise my family, I bring deep local knowledge and strong community connections to my work. My journey in real estate began in 2004, following a rewarding 19-year career in the banking industry, where I served DeKalb County and surrounding communities in operations management and residential lending. That experience gave me a strong foundation in loan origination, underwriting, and servicing knowledge that continues to benefit my clients as they navigate the buying and selling process. Real estate quickly grew from a career change into my true passion. Since earning my license, I've had the privilege of guiding hundreds of individuals and families through some of life's biggest transitions whether purchasing a first home, expanding an investment portfolio, or selling a property filled with memories. Seller reviewDawn was patient, sympathetic and concerned. Our property was listed at a less than optimal time of year and two buyers were unable to obtain financing, factors which delayed the sale. In spite of this, Dawn was persistent in the pursuit of buyers and always available, answering calls and messages promptly. Her knowledge of the market and the technical/legal aspects of real estate seemed solid. She seemed to rely heavily on agents operating through multiple listings and had few of her own clients. However, the final result was excellent and we recommend her.
