Gordon Baker was my only choice in agents, even though friends urged me to try other agents. Gordon is most trustworthy, a man of his word. He listens and follows through. He is not a "yes man". He will disagree and offer another perspective when necessary, and gives sound advice that is always in the best interest of the client. He is respectful, professional and does what he says he will do. Over the decades, I have dealt with a number of agents and have been disappointed with their lack of follow through and integrity. I have never, not even once, experienced Gordon giving any less that 100%, even with issues where there might not be any immediate financial advantage for him. He does his best because that is his nature. His unwavering positivity and dependability are head and shoulders above most. He should be acknowledged for who he is, which is the foundation of how he contributes. We wish him every good thing. He has become more than an agent. He has become a friend. Understand this. I have little patience or trust in agents that talk a good line and do not follow through. My rating is based on reality, not happy feelings because our sale is completed. Gordon consistently does his best. He should be teaching classes in how to be the best agent.

He was always available (most agents are NOT), extremely knowledgeable, polite and friendly. He helped in all aspects of the sale/purchase and touched base (in a professional and friendly manner) with the vendors when they weren't doing their job like they should have been. He knew the dedicated and knowledgeable local folks needed to do inspections and various other tasks.
