IQ was so friendly and personable. He took the time to get to know us and made us Facebook friends years ago. He even came to my surprise birthday party! He feels like a part of the family instead of a businessman with whom we have worked. Others in the house-buying process were cold or distant. IQ couldn't be further from that! Just an all-round nice guy that you trust. Like Walter Cronkite ;) Due to the current volatile housing market we suggested offering over the asking price. IQ told us not to and he was right! The house was being sold "As Is", but IQ told the sellers that he would not allow us to move into it in the winter without a working furnace. He got them to repair it and get it tested. He was always looking out for our best interests, even when we didn't know what they were! He comes across as "Everyman" and so is entirely approachable and offers an ease of communication. I had heard horror stories about buying a home-red tape, unreturned phone calls and email, etc. We had the exact opposite experience with IQ. He apologized if he didn't answer his phone every time we called-lol! To improve on Century 21's service- clone IQ! Then everyone will get the same home-buying experience that we were fortunate to have. He even sealed the deal with a lovely plaque commemorating our new longitude and latitude!
